MANTA RAY Aboriginal Design Recycled Mat, Blue & Black
1.8 x 2.7m
Manta Ray is a calming design, ideal for use as a relaxation mat, caravan mat or play mat. This Aboriginal design recycled mat comes in blue and black, in our mid-size, making it compact enough to fold up for transporting but large enough to gather your family for a meal or class for group time.
Helen Price is a Queensland-based Indigenous artist, from Darumbal country. Her Manta Ray design represents a respect for ocean life, with a ray sailing across the sea bed, passing shells and stones, riding the riptides. Price’s art uses the symbols of nature to share stories about our own life’s journeys.
This mat makes a beautiful souvenir of your Australian travels, or floor covering for your camping or fishing trip. The intense blue and black colours will make a big visual impact in an office foyer or become the talking point of your living room or outdoor area. Use this design in the classroom to generate discussions about nature, art, colour and Indigenous symbolism with children of all ages.

Manta MagicBy: Michelle O'Flynn on 16 July 2018I love this mat. As a scuba diver, Manta Rays are my favourite marine creatures and this mat is a wonderful depiction of this magnificent creature, reuses plastic and keeps it from polluting the ocean and promotes the protection of our wonderful marine environment.
Love mantasBy: Georgie on 29 April 2018As a keen diver for many years and enjoying the beauty of these magnificent animals I couldn’t walk past this stunning Aboriginal design. To know that this is designed by a Darumbal artist is a truely added benefit and helped me make my final decision to purchase and I truely love it and love the work that recycled mats does with working with local Indigenous artists
So Soft!By: Leanne on 21 November 2017I've sat on other people's outdoor mats before and they just do not compare, as soon as I took this out of the packaging I was surprised by just how soft and comfortable this mat is, I wasn't expecting it at all! Not only is it comfortable but it's just so beautiful as well. This is so much easier to care for and fold then our old picnic rugs. We are going to get so much use out of this mat!
