Uncle Barry serves as Elder in Residence at Communities for Children - Life Community and is located in Logan, Australia.

Prior to joining Communities for Children , Barry served as the Manager of Murri and TSI Network. Before arriving at Murri and TSI Network, Barry served as CEO at ATSICHS.

Presently, Barry is a member of Gunya Meta Inc, Logan A&TSI Community Network and ATSICHS . Barry studied Advanced Diploma of Community of Practice at Mooloolaba TAFE and earned an Associate Diploma in 2012.

Barry also attended MSIT and completed a  Diploma of Business Studies in 2010 and a Cert. in Indigenous Mentoring in 2006 at SouthBank TAFE.

Barry's core expertise includes Community Development and Family Support and had produced several children's books.  Barry enjoys AFL football, family and community history, fishing and stamp collecting.
