Easy to clean and maintain and made from commercial-grade 3mm mild steel, life expectancy is between 6 to 10 years (longer if kept out of the weather)
These Retro Fire Pits can easily transform your backyard and create a cozy space for friends and family to gather around and are ideal for camping - especially given that many campsites don't provide a fire pit. And they won't leave burn marks on the grass so are caravan park friendly too.
Designed to be portable and practical for both backyard adventures or the outback camper, it's perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy those starry nights. Providing light and warmth, as well as heat for cooking, a fire pit is a must for any night-time adventure in the outdoors. We understand the enjoyment that having a fire brings and there is nothing better and more relaxing than sitting around a campfire under a sky full of stars.
Creating a decent fire requires sufficient air supply and these custom-made fire pits measuring 40x37x28cm in size and just under 8.5kg (exclusive to Recycled Mats) have been designed so that the sides allow for as much airflow as possible while still safely containing the flames.
As part of our Camping and Caravan range, the Retro Travel Fire Pit is easy to transport and quick to assemble which makes it ideal for use from the backyard to the beach. This clever Australian Made design packs flat inside a compact carry bag and can be put together in minutes, ready to create a blazing campfire for you and your buddies in no time.
Roasting marshmallows with the kids around the fire or having a few coldies with your mates has never been so easy.

Remove all ash and debris from the pit once fire is out. Use hot, soapy water and a soft cloth to scrub the interior of the fire pit. Rinse the soap and water thoroughly and use a dry cloth to wipe the fire pit dry. Water residue can cause a metal fire pit to rust, so make sure not to leave water sitting after rainfall or cleaning.
