This combination Blue Chindi Trellis Indian design recycled floor rug with hourglass patterns is handmade from 100% recycled cotton.
A blue version of our popular rainbow-coloured Chindi trellis rug, this rug measures 1.1 x 1.5 metres and is the perfect addition to a home office, study, or children's bedroom.
These Chindi trellis rugs are produced using fabric offcuts from clothing manufacturers. JJ and her team travelled to India in early 2017 to meet with the makers and suppliers of our Indian floor rugs and were thrilled to see the benefits that producing these hand-crafted rugs makes to local people by providing flexible work hours and a great capacity to earn income from their efforts.
Chindi Trellis rugs from Recycled Mats are ethically produced, benefiting communities and the planet by making something new and exciting from discarded cotton. They are super soft to sit on, warm in winter and cool in summer. They’re easy to transport – just roll them up and take them with you. But you'll be surprised how sturdy and weighty they are. Once they are on the floor, they don't move anywhere.
Kids enjoy the vibrant colours and textures of these rugs, which makes them ideal as play mats or school mats. Dot these mats around your early learning centre for stories or quiet time.
We suggest pairing this handmade rug with one of our wooden side tables - this one in Blue Bay is running out the door.

Light vacuuming or spot-cleaning with a damp sponge is the best approach when caring for these rugs. For a deep clean, use a professional carpet cleaner.
Simply Perfect!By: Gemma Dunkley on 29 November 2018Great quality, well made and beautiful design! Love it!
Blue Hourglass rugBy: georgiana sheridan on 6 May 2018Have been eyeing off this rug for a few months so when it was offered on sale I jumped. It is a beautiful rug and fits well where it was intended. Sadly the dogs thought it was bought specially for them so Words Were Had. This is the second purchase I have made through recycled mats and will certainly not be my last.
