Artist Susan Betts has designed the newest addition to our range of fun things for kids.
This indigenous design mat is a giant puzzle made from recycled rubber.
The story behind this art piece is:
Ocean's song sing beneath the blue sea, Dolphins dance in and out of the waves,
Turtle glide over the turquoise reefs, And reef fish dart in and around the seaweed,
Flowing with the rhythm of the sea
Use this puzzle mat to teach children about Aboriginal culture & storytelling, lay it down as comfortable flooring over concrete in undercover areas, use it create separate play areas and zones for activities, swap your carpet tiles for these for individual seating on excursions and during travelling art shows or performances. Kids can put the puzzle mat together without assistance as it features simple interlocking rubber tiles. Each tile is numbered on the mat to ensure layout is easy.
