3m Euca Mat designed by Christine Slabb, Bundjalung artist
Christine Slabb is an accomplished Indigenous artist and graphic designer from the Bundjalung Nation on Australia’s east coast who has been a part of RM's artistic team since 2013.
In this design, Christine tells a story about the season from March to July when the lorikeets feast on eucalyptus flowers. This is a bird’s eye view, looking at the top of the flower as it bursts into life.
GARRIMA- Joongarrabah is a peak that overlooks the Tweed and Gold Coast Region. This iconic landmark is a vital part of the local cultural landscape. For many generations, this special place has been significant in the teaching of “Garrima” respect.
