The Turtle Journey Aboriginal design recycled mat in oceanic green and blue is a tranquil design perfect for outdoor use.
Designed by Aboriginal artist Helen Price, a Queensland-based Indigenous artist, from Darumbal country, Turtle Journey is a special design close to her heart.
"This design features the real life migration pattern of turtles, who travel hundreds of miles for the breeding season, but always return. The turtle never forgets where it comes from and nothing can keep it from coming home. “There is something inside, in its soul, that knows the way,” says the artist. It is similar to the journey back to country, where your soul is at home."
Price kept this narrative in mind when she created Turtle Journey.
The intense blue and striking turtle imagery will make a big visual impact in an office foyer or become the talking point of your living room or outdoor area. The Turtle Journey motif is also available on an indoor/outdoor cushion cover.
Made from 95% recycled plastics, dust, sand or food spills wipe away with ease, making them equally useful in the home or in public settings – indoors and outdoors. They are lightweight, easy clean, easy to carry and can be stored in the boot of your car for impromptu gatherings.
