A modern design runner, perfect for your hallway, kitchen or bathroom.
The Tweed Coast is a 0.9 x 1.8m waterproof mat designed with delicate colours to suit minimalist and soft-palate interiors. Bundjalung - Yugambeh woman, Christine Slabb, created this design with inspiration from her home town off the Tweed Coast. Her designs are heavily influenced by the sea and this one portrays beach sunsets amongst native Yucca trees in the cooler months of the year.
The Tweed Coast is a vibrant seaside destination offering plenty of activities with breathtaking views. It is filled with stretches of long pristine beaches that provide world-class surfing, coastal reefs, whale watching and habitats for turtles.
This waterproof mat is a beautiful way to bring this region of Australia's beautiful environment home. Tweed Coast is a perfect mat to use in hallways or wet rooms like laundries, bathrooms and kitchens. It is mould and mildew resistant and can simply be wiped down or gently hosed off to remove any mess from everyday life. To keep the Tweed Coast secure to the floor in high traffic areas, we recommend the use of a non-slip underlay.
From the words of designer Christine Slabb herself,
"Winter sunsets on the Tweed Coast are spectacular. Soft pastels spread across the evening sky and another day in paradise comes to an end."
