Turtles are an emblem of wisdom, longevity and stability in many cultures around the world. They need to rise to the surface to take a breath of air and only need to do this once every 15-20 minutes while feeding, and surface for air every 30 minutes when sleeping.
An attraction to the ocean & the outdoors comes naturally to Australians. Our recycled plastic mats are designed for outdoor living and are ideal to use as your camping flooring or alongside your caravan or camper as an annex mat. They are made from recycled polypropylene - things like medicine bottles, shopping bags and other soft plastics are saved from landfill and then repurposed into a new life as a camping essential.
Our large 5m 'Turtle Rising' mat has plenty of space for the whole family to gather, whether it be for meals, games or relaxing. The mat's tight weave serves as a barrier against stones, itchy grass or insects while still allowing the circulation of airflow to help preserve the ground underneath. This mat can be used both inside and outside your large tent to add padding under your feet, or to provide extra space around your campsite. It's also reversible!
Like all of our recycled plastic outdoor mats, this mat is easy to clean, carry and store. Wipe or broom the dust and dirt away, or if you need a deeper, more thorough clean, simply hose it down. For your convenience, this annex mat is UV resistant, has six eyelets for tie-down purposes and comes with a strong, recycled polyester carry bag, which has a handy silver-insulated side pocket, so there's plenty of room for more than just the mat!

Designed in Australia, manufactured in China or India. NOTE that sizes are +/- 5% due to weaving techniques in manufacturing and may not to be 100% as stated. If using on a slippery surface, non slip mesh recommended underneath.
Care Instructions
All our floor mats have been made to the best attainable standards from UV treated recycled polypropylene. Follow our guide to mat maintenance for cleaning and storage instructions. Our floor mats and playmats are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, but extensive exposure to sun or rain will lead to fading and deterioration over time.
