Dianne Moore, better known as Tictac, comes from Purrumpunarli on the Tiwi Islands in the north of Australia.

Tictac works at Tiwi College on the Tiwi Islands as an assistant teacher and loves to spend spare time by going fishing and hunting.

The art that influences her work comes from her sister Marlene, who paints on canvases and shells, and also her grandparents who painted on bark, pukumani poles and weaves baskets.

Tictac's totem is the yirrakapayi, which stands for "Crocodile". Her skin group is Warnatarringuwi which stands for "Sun" and the symbol that represents her skin group is featured in most of the paintings she does.

Tictac paints with traditional Tiwi colours of black, white, yellow and ochre and rarely strays from those four colours.
